Exercising the voting right, engagement and exclusion
In conjunction with Hermes Equity Ownership Services, PNO Media screens investments according to its Responsible Investment Code. We also exercise our voting right on all shares. PNO Media engages into dialogue with companies that fail to meet their social obligations in accordance with the code, with the aim of establishing a structural change in behaviour. If the core activities of a company are not in line with our fundamental principles, PNO Media excludes these companies or government bodies from future investments. The same applies when reliable sources indicate that dealings of the company or government body constitute a serious breach of our fundamental principles, whereas engagement has failed to lead to a change in behaviour within a certain period.
